Hello Guys and Gals....
I am wondering if anyone has had or heard of anyone using the Centre Force DF or DFX clutches in there cars ?? The DF is good for 350 Hp and 350 Trq. Where as the DFX is rated for 450Hp and 450 Trq. I'm guessing the DFX has a fairly Stiff pedal ?? Or perhaps not due to its describtion on crateeniginedepot.com. It has a ball bearing assembly for lighter pedal and qwick realase. How ever, my current clucth ( Bully Dog Stage 3 ) has a fairly stiff pedal. Which is what i was hoping to avoid if possible. I just want to get a clutch that will last longer then a year or two this time.
Any thoughts or input would be appreciated ?? Thanks !!

My Stage 3 Bully dog stg 3 does that as well. But only for a few seconds and then it stops. Its not really loud either. I had a spec stage 2+ before and it didn't hold from the second it was broken in. So the garage that installed it replaced it under warrenty for me. Anyone else ?

Yeah... This is the one im leaning towards. So the pedal is fairly soft and or close to stock is it ? That would be pretty sweet and a welcome change to the stiffness of the bulley dog stg3. How long have you had the dfx installed ?

Thats good to hear that it's not really stiff. I'm hoping this clutch will hold longer then the bullg dog did. Another question.... The Bullg Dog clutch came with some sort of spacer that attached to the back of the slave cylinder to make the clutch work properly. Did the center force df or dfx come with the same thing ? Or will i have to tell the mechanic doing the work to re-use the old spacer ? Or NOT to use it ?

Apparently in Canada my local dealer tells me it is not avaliable to us ? I'm not sure why not. Something about it being an american part number and they couldn't locate it to oder one ? Idk.... So i ordered the dfx. I am still looking for some answers about the spacer placed on the back of my slave.
I priced one out at my local dealer. Caledonia, Ontario. And trust me, you're further ahead ordering from CED or somewhere in the states.
They quoted me $804.00 CDN!!!! Sick!!!

I had a spec 2+ before. I broke it in for 800 miles. I babied it, and the first time i power shifted into second. The clutch slipped like it was wore out. So the clutch dealer replaced the clutch for me under warrenty. It was only 3 weeks old. And they gave me the bully dog stg 3. Good clutch, up untill twoo weeks ago when it just tottally went bad.
Update : So i ordered the centre force DFX , baste on what some are saying here, this clutch should hold really well for me sense im only running gm stage 2. And apparently the clutch doesn't feel to much heavier then stock.
