gm stage 2 or custom stage 2
gm stage 2 or custom stage 2
ok im looking into getting some mods done to my 07 cobalt ss...aside from warranty cause i really dont give a crap about it, would it be better to buy everything i need aftermarket and get a custom tune or should i just get the gm stage 2.. im thinking with the same money as the stage 2 from gm i can do some extra stuff if i buy it all aftermarket. any ideas on what i should do??
so what size injectors and pulley etc would i be safe to run... anyone have a particular setup that they would suggest?i just want to get the most power i can get for approx the same $$ give or take??
pretty much, but they have to prove that part caused the failure, like if you put an exhaust and then your radio stops working in the future they cant void the warranty on that.. it has to be somehow related.
basically what i would like to know is what should be the first mods i should do with $1000, cause thats how much i plan to spend on mods in the spring. i just want to get the most out of my car with that amount of cash.
Siemens 60lb/hr injectors, 2.6"pulley, Ingalls Torque Damper, Dezod 2.75" Cat-Back, AreoForce Interceptor Gauge, TTP Tune, ZZP Adjustable Tensioner
All this cost me about $1500 and its all working good for 250whp and 242wtq, I think it would be more if I could get my belt on tighter

what about this??
After several hours of testing with different supercharger pulleys, fuel injector sizes and air/fuel adjustments, we were able to achieve 270 WHP on 92-octane pump gas, with 18” wheels and a complete exhaust system.
Current mods include:
- INTENSE modular supercharger hub with 2.80” pulley - $129.99 (part numbers LSJ-IMH-090 and LSJ-IMP-280)
- Lucas 42.5 pound/hour fuel injectors - $159.99 (part number LSJ-FIS-425-4)
- Casper’s fuel injector connectors - $29.99 (part number LSJ-CIC-012-4)
- MAF Translator - $179.99 (part number LJS-FTS-MAFT)
- Autolite 3922 spark plugs - $7.96 (part number LSJ-ASP-3922 x 4)
- Catalytic converter removed – N/A (not sure how important this is, since the stock converter seems to flow pretty well)
Total parts cost = $507.92
