So just with a stage 2 kit i will be fine with regular oil changes?

can you be more spicific? what are you looking to accomplish? what are your current mods? what are your goals? etc... if you just are looking to drop pulley sizes grab some butter cause your motor will be toast shortly

seriously, as posted in many other pages of this paticular thread..... build your own!. i built my stage kit and the tune for under $240.00 as long as u dont care about warrenty u'll be fine. find some used injectors, get a hub and pulley from smoothflow and find someone that can do a HPTuners tune on it. easy as that. screw paying 1000 bucks for the stage 2, its not even worth it. my car runs great, i smoke sti's all the time and other crap, and my injectors are used. just make sure to do a bg44k shoot thru them to make sure they are clean and such.

I just order a CA heat Ex. and a CA header and a zzp downpipe w/high flow cat. So far I have the GM stage 3 with a CAI and a GMPP cat back as well as the dual bypass end plate which comes with the GM stage 3. It come with a 72mm pulley (2.99) but I was want to but like a 2.8 on there. I was thinking since the stage 3 has the tune for more fuel to kick in when 50 shot hit in at a serten rpm it will make up for the extra boost maybe. And im not running the nos right now. I dont think it will work safely. What you think?

mybad for my wording being all jacked up in that last message.

Yeah man I already have 42lbs ers and a 2.99 pulley on there now that came with the GM stage 3. The thing is I dont have the Stock PCM to put that back on and go get a tune. The GM stage 3 is locked thats why I was just asking if I could run a smaller pulley with this tune safely.

With the dual pass and the extra heat exchanger, you should be OK with a 2.8. You may want to look into meth injection and a custom tune though to be safe.

I think he asked what size pulley could he run, not build his own kit, he already has that.

With your mods you could run a 2.8 with no problem ( other than a small amount of tuning nothing major ) add meth and you can run a 2.7 and with the meth really start to see some noticeable gains. goodluck!

So does the stage 2 kit give numbers like advertised on crate engine depot? 245 with st2 up from 205 stock?

Also. If I got the st2 tune tweaked. For warranrty purposes could I erase the costom tune off my map so that gm couldn't see it was ever on there

Ok so what about the tweaked tune? If I get it tweaked and for warranty purposes could I have the tune erased off my map so that gm couldn't see it?
