GMPP Exhaust Help.

Ok so ive decided to stick with the GMPP catback exhaust, now I have another question.

I went to my dealer today to ask how much it was to have the parts ordered+install.

They have 2 tips, the flat and like angle one, but the flag tip that they have doesn't have the chev symbol at the top, and the other like 3 people's catbacks all have it, is it the same? Cause id rather have it with the chev symbol like everyone else.

The part #s i got were 17802113 for the tip, and 17802111 for the actual exhaust..

Anyone have any information and if this is ordered right from GM shouldn't mine be the same as everyone elses?

Cobalt Exhaust Tip Straight Cut... 17802113
Cobalt Exhaust Tip Angle Cut... 17802112

Those are the two I got, so far though everyone ive seen with the GMPP exhaust has the chev tipped straight cut I believe and id like mine to have that as well.

Any help would be awesome, thanks.

awesome, thanks for information! All I need to do now is call my dealer tomorrow morning and ask if I were to bring the parts if they would install.

Thanks for information, and what I was looking for was answers to WHY it doesn't have the symbol

I ordered mine from gmpartsdirect.com and paid $9 for shipping

I have the angled tip and I can't remember what is on it. I know one has the bowtie and the other has something else. Honestly, you can't see it unless you get down there and push the tip down.
One more thing, this exhaust is simple enough to do it yourself. The hardest part is cutting the stock exhaust pipe.

The GM dealer price for those is cheaper in Canada than in the US ...

Go figure ...

no its not.

the cat back system is 2.25 inches all the way mendrel bent. it is NOT 2.5 inch.

At the tip part, it swedges up from 2.25" to 2.5" so a person can put on an exhaust tip with a 2.5" inlet.

dude, your only getting 223.7hp from thoes mods. Bro, you need to get your ECU mapped. A custom map job will cost about 700-800 bucks, but it is well worth it. PS, you should be getting close to 270 after a custom mapping.
