Is the GMPP manifold worth it?

As of right now I have stage 2 and the GMPP sport catback...I am deffintly planning on getting the ZZP downpipe, though is it worth the money to buy the manifold? Also, if I get the GMPP manifold will the ZZP downpipe bolt in with the manifold with the 2.5" DP exit? Thank you.

Its the only manifold to get. Bar none. No leaks, good gains and priced good. There should be no competition but people think that since its from GM it can't be the best thing out but if you wanna be smart get the GM manifold.

the only issue that i have with the GMPP manifold is the price. for the same money, a shop can polish out the inside of the one that's already on your car, usually including labor.

plus no warranty problems come with..may not yield the highest gains, but its definitely the best choice for those who dont want to swap back on the stocker to avoid dealer trouble in the event of engine damage

Appreciate it guys...with the combo of a ZZP downpipe with the high flow cat and the GMPP manifold what gains could I expect?

Thanks for all who helped answering my questions, plus rep for everybody who posted in here. Though i still need to know if the ZZP downpipe will hook directly up the GMPP catback and manifold. I figured the power curve would be more usuable. Should be ordering this setup Monday.

Appreciate it man. Will the exhaust sound much more raspy, I mean if it does that is okay for the added HP but I dread it sounding like a rice rocket.

I would rather just stick with GMPP on the manifold, less chance of leaks and etc.

I have the GMPP-->ZZP Downpipe w/cat-->Magnaflow Cat-Back and it all bolted up great, good performance and great quality by all.

It flows an extra 350cfm. What you read was a typo.

There is a typo in what he read. I'm pretty sure its supposed to read 350 but i cant find the literature to support it. But it definatly flows alot more than stock.

It flows 7% better than the stock manifold is what I read off of CED's website.

I meant to quote his post, not yours. 350 cfm vs. 35 cfm is a BIG difference.

Is there a sound difference at all with the GMPP Manifold? Since I have the GM Sport exhaust and I like where it is at right now.

Ok, can someone clarify who is wrong here? People need to learn to post links or something, not just say something is a fact. For those of us who don't really know, this is quite confusing.

The more I think about it, 35 cubic feet in 60 seconds seems correct just thinking about WOT and the diameter of the exhaust, but I'm not all that knowledgeable in this area. 35 cfm is basically 1 cubic foot every two seconds correct? And that's additional to the stock manifold, not total. So 35 cfm seems more realistic than 350 cfm I guess.

I have a great shop, so I doubt they'd void my warranty over a header. If you're concerned about warranty, always go GM. But me, I demand a LOT for my money, so I'll probably stick to DC Sports or Vibrant (if I can ever afford that thing hehe). I don't make much money, so the HP-to-dollar ratio is important to me. If I can't save up enough in the next year or so (trying to pay off old debt), I'm going to have my OEM one honed as a temporary solution.
