Gmstg 3

All rite ive decided to purchase a used gm stg 3 pcm to run juice. Any major diff's in zzp's s3 tune with 2.7 vs gmstg 3 with 2.9? Obvis that gmstg3 on juice will roll, but when Im riding around on the 2.9 ring on gm's tune you think it be a mojor diff from zzp's canned tune? Both prob pig rich. Just wna try the nitrous feature and if I like it I will do the trifecta update. Go for it? Stop? any last words peoples?

might as well get the trifecta gm stage 3 tune with ac and have it tuned for your mods on top of that

I have both the GMS3 and the Trifecta GMS3 with A/C. GMS3 is not pig rich. My AFR is within + or - .2 of 14.7. I run about 12.3 at WOT in the uppre RPM range. It is a pretty good tune especially running Sunoco GT100. The Trifecta GMS3 is great because you can tune it with HPT for any additonal mods like TVS and 60s. I purchased the TGMS3 for the A/C and left the window open for whatever comes my way in the future.

Thats what I am doing GM3 +Trifecta+BYT. Nice having HPT and a local tuner in the area.

What year is your SS.

well I ended up buying the gms3 pcm. guess when it comes will see how big of a diff from 60's n 2.7 ring feels vs 2.9 and 42's. Once I spray and know thats the route I wana go I'll just order the trifecta update to run my 60's again and whatever else may change by then. worste case is I got a genuine gmstg3 pcm for 100 buks. Cant buy a nitrous window switch for that amount and do all of what the pcm will do.
