ok so im in the market for a new header dp combo and exhaust..i want a 3 inch..and please pleople dont say a 3 inch is bad..so tell me if this is a good setup??
header and dp...http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=545&catid=155

exhaust..will be a 3" piping with the gmpp muffler to keep it legal..around here they look at our exhaust..and it says gmpp..so ill be alright..

not to thread jack but rico did you get yours cermaic coated,stainless,or painted and how is it holding up

Zzp headers are quite the bitch as the primaries get extremly close to the studs on your exhaust side of the head. You will have to modify your stock nuts or get a different type of nut to screw on if ou go with the zzp. I highly suggest you go with a CIA h/dp setup. AmazIng quality and a hell of a lot better welds.

damn it was a while ago I beleive i just got mines the most regular cheapest way painteed i guess it would be and its been on the car about a year or so and still in great condition no rust or anything. and i know this because i was under the car 4 days ago cuz i had a dp problem after a year and they still helped me out and fixed the flex pipe that went bad

I just put a zzp header and downpipe on my car and while I agree the welds arent too great I actually re welded mine I had zero issues on the install? there was only one nut I couldnt use a socket on.
