i would suggest meth for the 2.7 and even with the 2.8 you should have full cooling mods, dual pass, option b, front mount intercooler
and colder plugs

i would agress with chevy.. i hated trying to tune my friends car with the ls4... now there are some tables out there that will help alot though.... also thats what i am going to do a DD with ... a 2.8 , meth, frontmount, 60's, colder plugs... etc and maby a few more mods... while ur at it u mise well do the STU mod because its gona help out the cooling also a little bit.( for the money i would say its worth it)

dd = daily driver, stu mod you can search about and read up on. Its sorta like the option b tank but setup a little differently. Basically adds more coolant to the system and keeps iat2's lower.

I recommend staying with the 2.8, anything lower will over spin the blower. I would also think about methanol injection, getting tuned, and any other cooling mods you can afford .

dd= daily driver search the stu mod. It would be a good set up for sure go with the 2.7 and make sure to have some cooling mods I have 60's with a 2.7 and no cooling mods but its not advised.

Just a thought you are trying to hard... Plus it goes against this forums rules.. you aren't a vendor!

Meth offers the best bang for the buck for cooling and power mods. I ran 60's, 2.7 and meth on my old LSJ and it ran strong and was just fine!

However it is unneeded on the 2.8 but the cooling effect are amazing. Run more timing, less fuel and have a beast of a car!

Personally, you shouldnt offer meth to someone who obviously has no idea what it does, how it works, and its dangers...

You arent helping them by telling them to get meth just so you can tune em for it .

I wouldnt say that...

I ran a 2.8 with no cooling mods, had no problems...

If i took it to the track, thats a different story... i would only do 1 or 2 passes... But thats just to be safe, I never had a problem though..

But for street, as long as you dont go full throttle EVERY time the light turns green, you wont have any problems...
