Got the engine light this morning....

Got in my car this morning and started it up, and the damn CEL light is on. I had no choice but to drive it to work and it drives fine. I noticed no limp mode or any issues. I will have to get it checked out after work today.

I'm guessing the code might be for the random missfires I've been having, but who knows

Good call guys. I'll check right now.

I haven't filled up in 5 days though. Don't you think it would have thrown the code earlier?

Too rich or Too lean throws a CEL. Do anything to your intake lately?

Not a misfire. Misfire = flashing CEL.

Could be anything... go have the code read.

Take a screw driver and tighten all of your clamps on your stock intake tube, and make sure they are properly seated.

I had a CEL the day before I left for college, it was leaning out because of a leak due to a lose clamp on my intake tube.

Well after taking a look under the hood when I got home the intake tube/hose had popped off the SC. Put that back on, started it up and the CEL went off. Thanx for the tips everyone! I have no clue how that thing came off of there!

cool! Sounds like a repeating problem, messing with the intake=check engine light, my car was leaning out b/c of the k&n air filter, took it off replaced 02 sensor=solved!
