Unhappy Got no power!!!

So i had GM install my Stage 2 upgrade in my '05 SS on Monday and noticed some serious acceleration gains in the take off and threw second;Third starts strong but at the top(around 4000 rpm) it just doesn't want to, for lack of a better word, GO. I can barely push past a hundred, where before i could get it up to 145 with ease. I have an Injen cold air intake, and GMPP Stage 2. Been running 93 octane since May, when i bought the car. I thought maybe they did something wrong so i went to a friend(a former GM Tech) but the work checked out any one else with this problem or any ideas to get me going " FAST ".

Heat soak? Dont do a full pull, just start high in 3rd. If it pulls hard then, you need a better heat exchanging setup.

Ok so heat exchanger pump works, but the unit itself(ha... i said unit) is not effective enough for "The Power." so my new plan for it is to go with the ZZP duel pass heat exchanger setup. So i guess my question is: Is it worth it? and is it as easy to install as they say on the site? Some feedback "por favor."

Dual pass is worth it but that's an endplate for the lumnova cores/intake mani. If you want an actual "dual pass" h/e i would get the Griffin h/e from ottp. That's the best h/e out there for our cars anyway. I wants and will do when I feel like parting with $500 for a h/e

dual pass w/ option b is a great set-up. I also have ottp's heat exchanger and works great! Also sometimes the pump fails intermittently... I had a problem with my pump working when it wanted to and ended up replacing it.

I just don’t think heat soak would be your main problem unless its a pump or something. Especially in this cool weather. I ran your set-up a long time ago and never had a problem.

Oh and if you are going to do the dual pass, order the phenolic intake mani spacer from zzp and install that at the same time since your intake will already be removed for the dual pass install

Thanks for the input... this is my first real tuner car so its a learning experience. So enough with the mushy ****... will i need to look into an upgraded fuel delivery system i.e. performance pump, fuel pressure regulation system? "So many questions, So little time."

I don't think heat is your problem, not yet anyways. I have the exact same setup and theres no way, even after multiple pulls, that my car doesn't go hard all the way to the top of 4th. Both with my 2.9 and stock stage 2 pulley.. Something's wrong.

This is what I was thinking too but I decided to just leave advice on cooling mods because I have no idea what his issue might be

Do an engine compression test and also check your spark plugs for any weird sign. Check if your cat is clogged too.

Well exhaust may be an issue, the bloke who owned the car before me was an animal and had it hung up with a wire hanger after the cat. I'll look into that tho. I definitely know i need a cooling system mod, not sure if its normal but I'm running 198* on average. I know S/C's run hot but even that seems too high. I will do a compression test and check my plugs too to be on the safe side.

Umm 198 is not normal. My normal coolant temps are 176-180 cruising around.

if your refering to the coolant temps on the dic that is engine coolant not your iat2 temps you would nned to log them with hpt pr an aeroforce guage and the stock h.e. is a dual pass

normal coolant temp should run between 195 and 235 (when the fan kicks on stock). If the car isnt up to 195 its not up to temp and you should replace your thermostat because its sticking open.
