got some more thoughts

i was thinking here, i'm at work doing 16hours lol looking at a computer screen lots of time to think

anyways if you get ingalls etd and lower your car with some good springs, wouldnt that help alot with the wheel hop or no??
i really don't want to change the axels or put a bunch of engine/tranny mounts on the car its still ganna be my daily driver and my vacation car sometimes don't want too much vibration

also if you buy the gm stage 2 the smallest pully you can put on it is 2.8 or 2.7?? can't remember and i'm tired don't feel like searching lol
i also was thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood/trunk, wouldn't that help with a lil weight reduction??

i just don't understand the point of making so much power if you cant be comfortable and put it to the ground good without spinning tires and wheel hop

I believe lowering the car would help with the wheel hop. By lowering the car you also eliminate alot if not all of the front end lift during hard acceleration.
I have the GM stg2 with a 2.79 pulley with no new adapter hub and the GM upgraded injectors, but am looking into upgrading to 60lbers

Yes the ingalls would help with your wheel hop, it would help to just lower the front, and keep the rear stock ride height even more, Iam telling you right now if you plan on moding and making power your going to need to replace them with bigger ones, theres no "cheap" way around it you need to do it or they are going to snap sometime at the track, i would recomend the smallest being a 2.85 or 2.79, even the 2.79 is kind of pushing it, i would not go a straight 2.70 on gm stage too, you would really want to upgrade to 60lb injectors then, your not going to be comfortable in this car to make it fast, its not a luxury car, your going to spin tires making more power the car came produces with, This car is not cheap to mod, and there is alot of supporting mods you have to do to make everything run good. I have a cf trunk and hood, it saves somne weight. Stock hood and trunk are heavy, but in reality you want as much weight on the front wheels to stop hop.

let him learn the hard way. when he breaks his axles he will wish he had listened.

He continues to blab about no mounts, no vibration, comfortable but still getting the power to the ground........ and everyone tells him that he needs to do something but he doesn't want to listen.

Dude. face it. it's a front wheel drive car. if you want to make power and put it to the ground, you HAVE to make some sacrifices on comfort/ noise.

Sure... u can just do the ingalls, maybe lower the front, and put drag bags in the rear. it might work all together and eliminate most of the wheel hop. but now you want to make power and put it to the ground...right? so you go buy some drag radials and your back to wheel hop heaven.

Stop asking for our opinions if you don't want to hear them

Use the Control Arm Braces from Bwoody or whatever they are called. They are supposed to limit wheel hop and they shouldn't increase vibrations.

I have an ETD and it it turned to the tightest setting. There are a few vibrations but nothing too serious. You get used to them and you soon won't notice they are there.

That is the Pro-Kit. If you look at the specs for the Eibach Sport Kit it drops it approx. 1" in the front and 1.3" in the back.

Exactly, i have the sportlines and they are great, some people on this site need to do research, and all these post;s from the same person are getting , YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY BRO FACE IT, if you want to put power to the ground, your going to need axles period end of story.

ok so what i will do is gm stage 2 cai headers exhaust and downpipe to start with
and ingalls and ssc lowering springs
then when i save up some money i'll buy those 400hp rated axels from intense
THEY ARE EXPENSIVE
i'll also get a maf-t to control the 42lbs injectors then put a 2.79 pully on

also will be getting interceptor gauge and possible a mbc to run safe boost so when i drop down to smaller pullys i can keep it close 18.5-19lbs when i get to that size pully

and i guess i'll go ahead and go 3 inch from collector to 3.5-4.0 tip
and go catless

what you think???
that sound like a good setup??

That sounds like a smart idea, getting the axles now will save you headache in the end, you might want to throw a clutch in there too sometime soon.
