Got Traction?

My car sucks horribly with traction, i launched last night on DRY roads, and i know ill spin 1st so i went easy, got on it in second and boom it spun so i let off a little, and got into third and it still spun so then i was like wtf? i smelt the clutch that burned a little and traction just sucks, i have farely new tires on it and yes they are z rated, and i have no wheel hop since the ETD absorbs that, what else can i do besides mounts?

You don't mention what tire you are using.Speed rating is irrelevant. If it is a hard compound tire on a cold surface you won't have much traction. You need a softer compound tire.

lift your foot, i think it was your clutch slipping into thrid not your tires, i roast em in second a lot but third is usually just a chirp, unless your road was wet

the road wasnt wet, it was earlier yesterday till about 4 it stopped and it dried up and this was at like 1 or 2 in the morning, and it was freaking cold so maybe that was it, but it couldnt have been the clutch, because after all that i did a pull from 45 and the car pulled fine no clutch slip, also i have Kumho Ecsta SPT tires on the car, and got them in the summer

if your clutch slips your car does not run any different after, it just sometimes hard to tell the difference between the two becuase of the rpms shooting up, but trust me when i was on stock clutch i would go from a stop roast first, grab second roast them all through that gear and third would slip alot of the time, but im a little more modded then the average joe

they help with wheel hop when paired with tranny mounts and motor mounts, but not wheel spin. if you have hpt or no someone who does limit your boost in first it will help tons

i have heard good things about general excliam uhp tires and bfg kdw's, if your looking for traction though limit the boost trust me, tires will wear

yeah, paul is living proof 326 on stock internals, alot blow becuase of crazy egt's and iat's but if you keep that pulley and run a 50 shot your flirting with 300 whp. which is pretty fun in a light car such as ours

a dry shot is before the maf a wet shot is after the maf i believe, wet is just a little safer to run but dry is easier to hide

Dry is just air.

Wet is air and fuel.

Wet is MUCH safer, but dry nets more power.

so where do u tap the nitrous jets, before the blower after the throttle body or before the throttle body and after the MAF sensor?
