Thank you for the email. I just spoke to my K&N rep and he has no clue who Dominic is. However, K&N is so big now, that they often end up with miscommunications at this level. According to our rep, the kit is in-production and we get weekly updates on all of our pending K&N orders.

We had a similar situation with the K&N GTO Intakes. We secured the first few production runs from K&N and filled our pre-orders. After a few months, the GTO kits were readily available from K&N. Our goal is to make you happy. If you are truly distressed, I would be happy to cancel your order and refund your money. You can always buy the item later this year once they are readily available.

Again, we want you to be happy. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.

I pre-ordered at gravana. I just sent him an email 5 mins ago. I will update on what he replies with.

 

So is that a bad thing if we pre-ordered from Gravana?

 

I ordered mine from Modern Performance. They have an awesome price on it right now!

I got a reply from Jim @ Gravana. He said they normally get their updates from K&N on Thursdays or Fridays, so he said to call Friday. So I will be calling Friday, and will give an update on what they tell me.

 

aight that sounds good to me... i dont mind waiting cuz its not like i have the money to buy anything else lol

 

I talked to Jim this morning and there is no news on when. He says he will hear again this Friday and if he hears something good he will post it here on

 

Talked too Modern Peformance and they talked to K&N today and the intakes are being sent out today too them from K&N. They will recieve them either Mon/Tues (10/11) and will be shipped out Tues/Wed and it takes 4-5 business days too get....Colin

 

that is both interesting and upsetting (if true) to us who preordered from Gravana.

 

Yeah I hope they'll be sending some to Gravana too. We'll all have them eventually, I'm just soooooo sick of waiting.

 

Got an email back from Jim.

Our K&N rep left a message last night stating "the first batch should ship the 2nd or 3rd week of this month".

Wrong! Modernperformance is getting the first batch. They already have tracking #'s and knows when they will be shipping them to their customers. Doh! Doh!

 

O well....it gets at my door when it gets at my door...im not gonna pace back and forth and look out the window for the UPS man with my binoculars

 

Yeah, but I ordered mine like a month ago. Haha. argh stupid delays.
