guesses anyone?

so I have a 2.8" pulley, 60's, 1-step colder plugs, Injen CAI, Megan Racing Catback, and i just recently put on a zzp header/dp (w/o cat). Before the header/dp i was tuned and dyno'ed 235 on a mustang dyno, some said my numbers were a little bit low? Im getting retuned on saturday, anyone have any idea how much of a power increase i should see?

Whats wrong with the megan exhaust?? Changing to another 2.5" aftermarket exhaust wouldn't help his situation at all. He just needs a good tune.

get rid of the injen and megan(and the zzp header downpipe if they aren't 3") and get a 3" intake, and a full 3" exhaust. then if you can afford it, methanol injection. then profit.

meh my stock TC dynod 228whp and 219lbft ... that's low compared to most tc's too... it depends on the dyno... don't take them to heart too much every dyno is different. besides weather, temperature, humidity, bad gas etc. changes things.

go to a track and get some real numbers please...
Dyno's should only be used as a tuning tool.

well your numbers and times line up. i dyno'd 231/205 stock and the best i could do was 14.2x with 2.0 60's. so there wasn't anything left. something is wrong with your tune. or just a bad combo of parts hahaha

the zzp combo is awesome. 3" exhaust is too big for his mods. if the op plans on goin with a more aggressive set up later he will benifit from 3" but for now i would stick with a 2.5 if i were him. as for a larger intake... it really dosnt make that much of a diff in my opinion. but in theory he would benifit from a larger intake seeing how he has dropped pulley sizes.

or your dyno reads high, or his reads low. I don't get how at this point in the game, people still don't understand that different dyno's read differently.

okay then. why did i dyno 273/250 with 3" intake, 3" header, 3" downpipe, 3" catback, 2.8, 60s, 90/10 meth/water @10gph....same dyno...

when he dynos 235 and runs low low 14s. and i dyno 231 and run low low 14s. i'm pretty sure the dyno adds up to the times... i was running all kidns of 14s that day. but i had about ten 14.2x runs. so i'ld say it wasn't going to go any lower.

i may have had a "factory freak" but once you start modding it all gets relatively evened out

mustang dynos factor in a lot more things in their readings. not surprising that your numbers are low

I have the same setup, minus the cat back, and i ran 14.1 and dyno'd at 240hp on a mustang dyno, and i was running 10's in afr...pig rich lol

Dyno readings are over rated sometimes, imo
