Gutted cat??

If/when i gut my cat my CEL will come on right? Is there a antifouler or CEL eliminator that i can get so the CEL wont come on?

yeah...0420 I believe. Cel eliminator may or may not work, hp tuners DOES work.

don't gut the cat, it sounds like absolute ass. i did this back in '05 and ended up cutting it off and replacing it with a test pipe.

i guess the sound gets in there and bounced around that chamber and it amplifies the trashy sound.

if you do anything, just cut it out and have a pipe welded in its place

ok regardless if i do it or not i will get a CEL if i gut it or if i get a test pipe! So the only way to get rid of the CEL is with a tune. No antifolers or anythin will work?

no i have no cat yes either way it will throw a cel but i get a spacer from ARK that moves the O2 sensor out of the pipe a litle to make it think it's going through a cat i have one and several other people on here have one no problems for me

Ok when i looked under the car i saw that the o2 sensor was fairly close to the chassis, you was still able to get a fouler in there with the o2 senosor also?
