Guys At High Elevation, What's Your Boost???

Just wondering what you guys are boosting? I'm around 2200 feet and seeing only 16lbs of boost in 3rd gear on a 2.6" Just wondering if that's normal or not.

The last thread was asking what your boost in general was. Seems like I have the lowest boost of all the 2.6 or 2.5" people. Just making sure here.

I dunno man, Edmonton is 2372ft so it's not that much difference.

So something is wrong for sure. I'm actually lucky for my boost to hit 16lbs, it just barely creeps up to 16lbs mostly high 15s. My cars got 35000kms on it right now. What can I check out to see why my boost is so low?

All my vacuum lines are ok, I checked them. Not sure how to check the bypass vale though. Had the SC off the car tons and never really looked at the bypass valve.

I've got a CAI, header and 3" piping and a highflow cat, think that's why I'm only seeing 16psi on a 2.6"

Ya, I cleaned it over the winter when the car was all apart in storage. I've only put 300 kms on it since then.

Is your rev limiter 7000rpm or 6500rpm?

I don't know for sure. But check to see if you have a 6500rpm or 7000rpm rev limiter. If it's 6500rpm then that explains your only seeing 12.5lbs of boost, meaning GM didn't flash your car right.

You will figure it out. Just give it time. Would be nice if you could find another SS/SC in your area with the same type of mods or another SS/SC at all for that matter. Good luck man.
