hahn 3" exhaust

i recently purchased this exhaust and now at idle i can hear a rattling in the muffler section, and when reved or driven in gear it sounds like ****, sounds like somthing is loosely flappin in the muffler, i already know something is loose in the muffler and they offered to fix it but i mean come on now this is like a 700 dollar cat-back, needless to say im a little upset with hahn. just wanted to see if anyone else exp this problem?

Mine rattles against the fuel tank skid plate once in a while, but I have hose clamps around the rubber hangers to fine tune how it hangs. A little tweaking once in a while solves the problem. It is a 3" exhaust, so a tight fit is ti be expected. The sound and performance are well worth the VERY minor issues.

Yeah, I did the same thing with the small hose clamp on the rear hanger works wonders. I dont know why you would be upset with Hahn though, you have to understand that they are one of the best companies selling premium quality products for our rides but everyone is only human and as these guys say "**** happens". Well it does, less frequently with companies such as Hahn but what you have to look at is when there is an issue as to how the company handles your concern. If they dont want to be bothered then there is a huge problem but myself knowing the guys at Hahn I could say that they will take care of you better than most would so just be happy with that as that is all that matters really.

Yeah, if they are fixing it, then you are golden. Even the best companies are going to have a bad product here and there, it is statistically impossible to have every single product you put out be 100% defect free.
