Harrop Pulley Question

So on these pulleys which side is supposed to go on or does it even matter?

theres some markings like a part number on one side, should this be facing out towards the engine mount or in facing the blower?

Fatter side goes inward, the etched numbers towards the engine mount.

Thats how I felt they went.

im guessing if you hold it up to the hub you should be able to see which way it lines up with the tensioner pulley

Thinner lip facing out would mean that the part numbers on the pulleys would be facing the snout right?

they don't need to be super tight, I'd say a bit tighter than the spark plugs.

I take it someone recieved a new toy?

I go with the dab of blue locktite and allen wrench tightening by hand in the same cross pattern sequence like you would the wheel lugs. This has worked for me with great success!

I just tighten them in a star pattern and give em a good pull.....no locktite or anything, no problems

At least you're going to take it easy right away. Congrats on the new toy! Take your time and tune it right!

I bet someone got their blower from Harrop as the last test bed since another member did not fulfill their obligations. Makes sense in my little world!

I dunno! I just cruise around on here to keep in contact with the cobalt community's progress! ** Sighs as Cobalt sits thousands of miles away in the garage **
