Stage 2 and save the rest.

In order to do 2.6 + 60# you would need the stage 2 belt and a custom tune. Altogether it would total over 1k.

Buy the stage 2 kit. That plus a cold air intake (I have AEM) will change your life.

I got my kit for $480 and had my dealer install it for $120, but I get really good deals from them because I buy over $60,000 in parts from them a year for my shop.

Please dont say/use DATS...

And if your dealer wants that much goto another dealer, or do it yourself.

The GM one? No. You wouldn't need it though.

Yeah 1100 for the stage two is BS. I paid under 800 for the entire thing. And that was probably too high. The tax man should be able to pay for it when you get your check from uncle sammy, mine did.

Becuase the HPtune would be on there. It would smooth things out and give you the most power right from the get go.
This is refering to what 0redline6 said and if you went that way.

LOL. The stage 2 flash you would get would be the latest, but I would ask them to make sure you get the latest software available.

Order iStage 2 from Crate Engine Depot for the lower cost, and with the directions show the dealership that it only requires 1.5-2 hours labor. Pay only for that time on the labor as well. Under a $1000 easy, and you can burn the rest on gas!

listen man...

dont go 2.6 pulley, thats too much, i have been there, i can vouch from experience, that pulley is just way to small without buying the right supporting/cooling mods. Which in your case i doubt you want to go into bothering with extra surge tank/dual pass ie. STG3+METH+extra heat exchanger ETC.

You will be happy with this setup AND keep your warranty! Assuming you have the 100K because your car is brand new right?

STG1-$500 installed at the most.
Modular Pulley System with a pulley of your choice(2.85")-$100
STG2 Belt-$40
NGK BKR7E One step colder Plugs-$11

Total=$651!!!!

Hope you make the right move man, later
