Haynes manual: LSJ content?

There seems to be just one Haynes manual for all Cobalt models. I was just wondering how much LSJ specific info there is in it? I want to learn more about the car so I can do most of the mechanical work on it myself. Does anyone have this manual and is it worth buying?

You may already know about this, but you can get a GM service manual from crateenginedepot. It may not be as cheap as a haynes manual, but you definitely get what you pay for: http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P2412C194.aspx

Thanks. That is pricey, but if it's detailed and has lots of LSJ content, it may be worth it. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Haynes/Chilton = **** tier.

The Helm Inc manual that CED is selling is the acutal dealership manual. I had one for my Grand Am, and it was by far the most god like manual ever.

I baught Haynes AND Chiltons. I also baught the service manuals from GMTechbooks. ALSO Another GOOD book on the LSJ if you want to learn more, is the LSJ PowerBook. SOmeone posted a link a while ago. I baught it from GM Tech books as well. It has color pictures and step by step how to on transmition engine, clutch remove install, as well as Stage 1 stage 2 upgrade install instructions. Also has some history and engine general discription.
