Header/downpipe

I am so confused on these things.

I have a stage 2 car. With CX racing h/e. Stage 3 pulley. Injen CIA. Ingalls TD.

Other then that its stock, meaning stock catback.

I need to know what header/downpipe is best for this setup, and for ferther modding within the next year.

Also, if I need to replace the cat to get best gains. Help me out with idea's if you can.

Thanks!

What ever you get make sure it has 1 3/4 prim, and a 3" collector on it if you plan on pushing big numbers down the road

No problem.

If your in a state with emisson's or noise is a big concern get the cat as it will quite it down. If you don't mind the noise and a couple hp get catless.

If you are going to run a wideband the extra 02 sensor bung comes in handy.

If you are putting this to a stock catback it needs a 2.5" exit on it.

If you wanted to do a full 3" exhuast you would get the 3" exit.

Okay, got it.

So I want to go with the 3' exit. I have a stock catback right now, but I will install a new catback 3' at the same time as the header/downpipe.

With the 3" I should get more power right?

Ive heard of people losing power, I dont wanna make any mistakes.

and Thank you for your help.

Yes,

That is what you would want.

You will not loose power just change where you make peak power.
