i gots the old 4 2 1 clear image header and i must say it is simply bad ass. i threw a bullet on the mid pipe due how loud it was with the hahn catback it sounds pretty nice though hatrickstu always asks when im going turbo so he can buy my exhaust setup. this is the old one im not sure if they still make it though. and as a matter of fact thats the exact one on my car now.

seems zzp has been having to many issues with downpipe bolts and flex pipes, i seem to read about another person with problems every week. the jbp header...what can i say. ive hear some fitment issues, not sure on the truth, but after the group purchase fiasco as well as their history with j-body guys, ill say i wouldnt be ordering one up any time soon.

my new header is in the works. i ended up ordering a clear image stainless one. cant wait till i get it. Beth has been great to deal with, even with the obscure ball socket i need to build my downpipe.

Flex issues on ZZP pipes were addressed and posted about months ago. We then extended warranty to 2 years.

Bolt issue was taken care of quite some time ago as well.

Mid length header DP combos are all in stock and currently on sale starting at $299 which includes O2 extension, bolts and gaskets.

I think the clear image header is a bit pricey. Not any cheaper than the vibrant setup according to Dan ($609) but would take longer to get here. ???

Clear Image.

Not very expensive at all, cost me less than $400 including shipping and Jet Hot coating. Superb quality as well, very impressive header compared to some of the other **** I've seen (JBP)

Its not stainless, thats why I had it coated. Same durability, and with better heat management properties.

The header was back when they did an intro buy, I believe the price was about $297 shipped, and i'm all the way on the other end of the world. That was with a velocity cone, 2nd O2, every option but stainless.

Even if you pay more, its still a far superior quality header, better than any other LSJ header I've seen. JBP build quality is ****, I could make one better than that for the price they charge.

I replied to your PM about the price.

Many of the guys posting here got the mild steel header with off-road down-pipe. There is a HUGE difference in price from the stainless header with hi-flow converter I quoted you earlier. Also, we do our best to offer that extra touch of personal care with every order. Beth, as you can see from above, is great to deal with. She is so enthusiastic about working for Clear Image simply because she knows how great our quality and workmanship is. She see's the owner, that's me, actually bending parts, packing your orders and speaking personally to our customers. We are a very small shop but each and every one of us here takes a personal interest in every single product we build and ship. We offer a lifetime warranty on our headers because we are 100% certain we wont have to repair them. We haven't had to address any failure issues because, well, our design doesn't have any flaws.

We are certainly not the cheapest. We use nothing but the best American made steel.
We are certainly not the fastest at shipping. We custom hand build every product to order.
But we certainly ARE the best when it comes to building headers and taking care of customers special requests.

Thanks to everyone for your overwhelming support!

I apologize, I was confused. I thought people were quoting stainless prices. If the regular steel price is around $400 I may still go with that.

when i ordered mine a while back i pretty much spoke with everyone who works there at one time or another. beth was awesome and if she didnt know what i was asking Dan would jump on the line to help me out. i dont care if the other companies have products as good as Clear Image at the same price or cheaper id rather have the customer service that i got from Clear Image.
