Cobalt Extruded Honed Manifold on crateengingedepot what kind of gains can we expect out of this? If anyone has it installed can you please tell me.

Not very many, thats not a true header, its just a stock manifold with a port job, get an Actual Header like a DC sports for some REAL gains

 

what site can we get that one off of, i was looking into getting a header+downpipe package

 

Umm.. I've heard the weapon-r header is good. If you do a quick search, they have a listing of a lot of headers out there. (Official Header thread) I believe.

 

the gm manifold isnt going to fetch the hp gains that a real header will.

 

I am facing the same situation as you my friend. I have been looking around for 3 days now and from what i can see, go to www.zzperformance.com and their stuff is waranteed and have good prices. I am planning on getting a header, downpipe w/cat and magnaflow catback from them. hope thats usefull

 

I have a pacesetter header AND LOVE IT

 

if your wanting the best and not worried too much about the money go with the cti header and downpipe

the dynos ive seen have shown 25+ hp

i have it and i am very impressed

lol i really doubt that man. 25 hp for a header and exhaust on a 4 banger? I understand that the CTI header is the caddillac of headers, but c'mon lol.

 

yes ive seen dyno numbers before and after the cti header and downpipe with a 26 hp gain

 

OMFG! I still dont believe it man, mind posting it here? I dont wanna offend, but its a bit farfetched.

EDIT; my dyno was 224 whp, your telling me i will dyno at 249 whp? I find it hard to believe. Ive been searching all over the place and I cant find this alleged dyno.

8whp gain dude. Im sure there might be more gains if he was tuned with 60's and a pulley. But i dont think they will be a 25 whp gain.

Id strongly recommend waiting to check out the Vibrant header thats coming out shortly for the SS ! Its a complete header, and downpipe unit with ultra high flow cat. Its going to be a TOP notch piece. We have them on order now and am expecting them within the next few weeks.

Let me know when you get that vibrant header in, I am deff interrested in getting one. If you would put one on ure project vehicule and get the dyno results, that would be even sweeter. Either way, keep me posted. Oh and your suggestion on catback.. I need one of those to
