with the 2.5 and stock cooling you'll be up @190-200 after 1 or 2 pulls. It generates some serious heat man

ah poor balt, dont forget that chances of ur belt starting to slip might increase cuz the pulley has slack now cuz its to small for the s2 belt

I seriously think that's a bad idea. If you are already seeing 150+ degrees, then you need to work on cooling stuff. a 2.5 pulley is gonna have you over 200degrees IAT at the top of 3rd like you sit. Good luck, but I think this is a horrible decision.

152 degree IAT2 seems pretty high even for a 2.8". I have a 2.9" and the last two track visits I had my IAT2 was about 20 degrees over my IAT2 at the line. It was usually high 90s to 100 and I would cross the traps at 115-120.

I know the smaller you go the more heat you get, but that seems like a big difference from just .1".

Do you have a log for a 1st to 3rd pull, basically a track run? I would like to know what your IAT2 is at the line and when you cross the traps with the 2.8".

If I were you, I would not drop to a 2.5". I would say 2.7" is the lowest I would go.
