heat exchanger and dual pass question

What kind of temperature drops are we talking if I put a dual pass and front mount heat exchanger on my car? Would it be safe to put a 2.79 pulley on it with a good tune and 60 lb. injectors?

The dual pass and heat exchanger would be recommended for the 2.8 pulley, expect IAT2 Temps to drop 25-40 Degrees dependant on where you live

yeah, I would get them before you install that small of a pulley. I have the 2.79 and not those and just the stage 2 tune and it is horrible on heat soak.....my IAT2's got to 171 once.....my motor should have blown.....but I was lucky...... I am changing all of that though.... learn from me.

I am getting the heat exchanger and dual pass first for sure. What kind of temps would I see with just a gm stage 2 with intake and full exhaust? And should I use my stock heat exchanger along with the other stuff?

And should I get the GMPP manifold? Would I see any gains or is it just more strong?

Well the front mount should net 15-25* depending on the car! I'm not a fan of the dual pass I've seen what it can (well can't do), but the frount mount and 60's should be fine!

I got a 40* drop from Methanol Injection, and I'll be putting on the 2.79 here shortly!

You can get a dual pass from GM and you can get a Cobra heat exchanger or a Cobalt Addiction heat exchanger. I think I'll just make one stop at www.Cobalt-addicton.com

Another option is DEI's CryO2.

BlilBT is putting it on his car. Don't know what kind of temp drops he'll get from it though.
