heat exchanger question

do you gain anything with a heat exchanger if your mostly stock?

It depends on what mostly stock is, but u dont need an upgraded h/e until u pulley down to like a 2.8, a dual pass for like a 3.0

lol ok

well mostly stock because i only have typhoon intake with gmpp manifold. the rest is all suspention mods and transmission mounts

Ur fine as u are then as long as ur ic pump is working, when u go to pulley down u will need to add cooling mods tho the more the better

well im thinking of just getting the gms1 then later adding a pulley and cooling so i guess im in the right path

Too be honest goong stage 1 alone is a waste of time just do all bolt ons then buy some used parts tO build a stage kit on here, iv gm stg 2 with a zzp dual pass for cooling and custom tuned by chevycobaltss3. I bought all of my stage 2 kit off of here piece by piece and had my tuner install it for me. Depending on ur money id either go 42s 3.0 pulley with dual pass or 60s 2.8 pulley with h/e upgrade and dual pass.
