Good question. I'm going with a bigger heat exchanger not the dual pass. It's just easier.
I'm also curious about the temp differences for each individually too.

Front mount with the addition of an Ion overflow reservoir.

So you can have GMP Stage III dual pass mod, and front mount heat exchanger?

Intercooler stuff is not my strong point...

front mount or dual pass will net you real gains... do both for even more...
I had em both on my car and saw a real nice drop in temps... add in meth injection and you'll be a little above ambient.

I got mine from C/A they have the dual pas end plate kit on the site and the Front mount H/E (get to see a nice pic of my car apart for that one) ... I was seeing @240 deg IAT2 after 2 runs with just the 2.5. added meth I was hitting about 160 deg/s added front mount down to about 145 and dual pass I was peaking @120 deg's... and you can def feel the power increase because it lets the engine keep full timing (PCM pulls timing above 160 deg IAT2)

for cheap and somewhat ok a used cobra one (03-04) from personal experience either the cobalt-addiction one or the LFP lightning one.

Yes that is a nice little addition to the bigger heat exchanger.

I'm thinking bigger H/E, extra coolant reservior and maybe some Cry02 spray on the H/E later on.

I need to ask the stupid question of if a dealer sees a nice H/E sticking out of the front bumper, will they take away my shiny warranty?

Seems to me you are not really picking up that much power with the dual pass unless you run 100 octane.

its not really overall power...its reliable power and consistant power from not raising your IAT2's over 160 thus having the PCM pull timing.. please read my posts... I pretty much spelled out what it does.
