Ok hello all first of all, im new to the forum but been reading the posts for a month.
Im buying a 06 cobalts ss s/c and were im buying it from the dealership will instal aftermarket stuff and include it in the final sale so i could finance it( They have a cobalt on the lot with the corsa exhaust already installed). Well i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to have them just install stage 1 or 2 kit on a brand new car with the engine not even broken in?

 

I don't see how it would be a problem at all. Of course you may want to take it easy on the car for the first 500 miles at least. I didn't feel like my car was "broke in" till about 2000 miles.

 

how good engines are now i dont even think that there has to be a break in period at all. i dont believe that it even says anywhere in the manual that you would have to break anything in, but if im wrong someone please say so and i had my stage 2 installed with 1k miles on it
