I was just wondering if anybodys belt tensioner moves when you slightly rev your car up. I was hearing a noise from under the hood so I got someone to rev the car up for me and I noticed that the tensioner was moving a fair bit. I was just wondering if this is normal or if my tensioner is fucked and I should buy a new one. If I do need a new one anybody got a part number or a place to get an aftermarket one?

 

nope it moves under revs, thats notrmal

 

awesome, was just making sure thought maybe when I changed the pulley out that I ruined my tensioner.
