hey guys, whats a good a/f ratio at redline? or wat should it be at?

its that i was runnin a 2.7 wit 42's n i know i was runnin lean but i wanna know how lean i was runnin now when i change the pulley

 

ur injectors prolly went static...if ur not running meth i would say 11.5-11.7 is safe zone

 

yea becuz wit the setup now around the 6000 something rpms its around there but when it starts gettin to bout 7000 its starts goin up n at redline 7200 it hits 12.0 or 12.2

 

who tuned ur car?

 

if you don't have a great tune, i expect a boom runing the 2.7 on 42's.

yea, that's pretty stupid. actually, that's VERY stupid. you either don't drive your car hard at all, or are doing alot of damage even if you don't realize it. get rid of the 2.7, OR get a tune/bigger injectors.

your injectors can't keep up with the amount of air you're moving. a 2.9 on the stage tune is the "safe" limit, many people have blown up their cars with a 2.8 and stage tune. 2.7 is just asking for trouble.

also, what cooling mods do you have?

you're welcome. if you don't have any, i would also get some cooling mods. you may be losing power AND doing damage with all the heat that 2.7 is making.

not sure. mine runs around 179 without it. what does yours run at?

 

the lowest it been it 180 wit it n its always around there but somes times it will go to like 220 n then drop. but i live in miami hot as f*** always lmao

 

I live in west pam beach mine never goes about 187, and thats only after i turn off the car, let it sit for like 30 min in the sun... then it drops right down to 180... 183 if im pullin on it on i95..

 

the coolant temp has nothing to do with your H/E
