does anyone know where to buy just this piece or have an extra for some reason

That looks like the fuel injector cup, that goes into the intake side of the head.
Let me see if i can find ya a part number.
Sorry man, im not having any luck finding a part number, though im sure you can prolly find them cheap from a dealership.

yea it sure does go in right before the injector does and they seal it in

Sorry man, my lucks came up in fail.
My service manual makes no mention of them at all, at least in my search for em.
I do, however, know thier called fuel injector cups, as diesals use the same things.
Try your local dealer, i cant imagine a spare bieng more than 10 bucks...

yeah man im positive its probably somewhere in the engine bay tucked in a corner i cant see but i have searched everywhere and cant find it so im just trying to buy a new one while i try to find the old one?? goin to the dealer 2maro to c if they have one

is this the one you're using???



i got a different part number though. "fuel injector tip insulator" p/n 12345610

wait. that may just be for the lubricant

awesome sounds good to me and i know for a 95% fact that the ones from 2004 ecotecs are the same as well and i know for 100% sure that any from a 2005 and on are the same cuz i took one off my g/f 2.2 and it was the same i just wanted to make sure... also you could compare it to my pic

not yet but the deal is in the process of goin through so i like to tell myself they are on the way instead of thinking about how my car doesnt run because of a 4-7 dollar part
