Well my car has 23000 miles and all the same mods since 3000 miles, but recently my AFR gauge has been goin crazy and I dont know if its the gauge or something more. The car runs fine, but the gauge says its running rich all the time like 13, but then when I get on it at about 3000 RPM's it goes lean, off the gauge lean. Sometimes I'll be driving with the cruise on and it will bounce from off the gauge rich to off the gauge lean, then back and forth! Like I said the car seems to be running fine, I'm hoping that maybe the sensor for the AFR is going out. Anybody have any other ideas? Its been the same tune on the car for the last 20000 miles so I dont think its that. HELP!!

 

if ur running catless then u could have burnt out ur o2 sensor

 

I have a high flow cat, Magnaflo. Could it still burn it out ya think?

 

do u run race fuel (leaded)?

 

No just premium 93 octane. This is really comfusing me and the only thing I can think of is the sensor.

 

sensor probably went bad then...check ur wiring and make sure nothings split, cut, or pinched just to be safe

 

I hope thats it. Do they go out often, or is this like a fluke thing.

 

i think its a fluke...its not something that happens all the time thats fer sure

 

Anybody else have an idea?
