Help!!!

ok today i went to the dyno and after the 3rd pull the oil dip stick shot up about 4 inches and oil shot all over my motor. could that be from to much oil or the head gasket blown??? or something else?

Could be that you need a new intake manifold gasket, but more than likely your almighty tuner just sent one of your pistons to a better place.

i dont think so, you would be able to tell if one pistons gone. i mean it still pulls fine before it happened

lol, i would plan for the worst right now. I wouldn't be driving it around hard and "see what happens" or else your car might really hit the bricks.

It wouldn't just be the orings on the dipstick because it takes a little more pressure than normal to build up in the crankcase to do that. I wouldn't drive it until you solve it....

did you try to put a peice of paper to the exhaust to see if it gets sucked in? because someone told me to do that and its blowing air out like it use to

i have no idea what the numbers will be. just that they should be with a very small percentage of each other

yeah, every car is different on that.... like area said, they should all be really close to each other. It is super easy to do though.

I concur. If he's lucky, he just needs a new intake manifold gasket.

OK this is his friend on his name i was with him. Ok im thinking thats it need an oil catch can or someway to vent the crank case because odviously hes running alot more boost than stock so I would have thought its just not vented enough because my rb20det 240sx blew the oil dip stick alot after i upgradedto a gt3076r turbo then i got a oil catch can it it didnt blow out anymore and also i got a new PCV valve

Well this isn't a nissan. And there have been a lot of others on here who have had this problem and its either been the #4 or blown head gasket. The lucky few it's only an intake manifold gasket, but I wouldn't bet on it.

this is something that is being experimented with..the engine is deff getting over boosted to cause this but we dont have a for sure thing that the oil catch can works on our cars..im going to be putting one on mine but also gonna have a strong head gasket and intake manni gasket so i wont know for sure whats helping to not make it happen again

you do not need to vent it with a 2.8 pulley.

the 12.5 afr without a way of watching the egt's more or less fucked it.

don't bandaid it right now. do the leak down and compression test. find hard proof that the motor is ok.

i can grab the specs tommorow from work if youd like. I think it is 180 though. Also, if the lowest cylinder is more then 10% lower you need to do some investigating. And to be honest, dont drive the car. Your gonna just be driving into a bigger pile of ****. stop while yous till have time
