Help!!! Interceptor Problem! Fast plz!
Here's what is going on, the gauges supposedly have to use a jump wire to start up when you start the car. It's suppoesed to be the red wire in the center of the bottom port on the back of the interceptor. I have wired these into a wire that is hot only when the key is on, this is the red wire coming out of the factory boost gauge. Now when I plug the gauges in the fuel pump starts up as well as some other things. I start the car and when I turn the key off it keeps running. As soon as I unplug the gauges the car goes back to normal and shuts off...
The gauges are functioning without the jump wire, but I have to unplug and plug them back in every time...
What is the problem here? Is my accessory wire? Should I not use that boost gauge wire?
what accessory only circuit should I use?

Try the sunroof fuse if you have it, or radio fuse. See if changing it from the boost gauge wire to the accessory wire helps. If not, report back. Oh, and don't forget to do it properly and use the mini add a fuse from autozone for $6.
