if it goes away instantly it is most likely false knock.
Knock sensors are really really sensitive, and they detect a certain sound frequency that the computer determines is "knock" and then retards the timing.
However, if something is banging up against the block or matches that sound frequency it will show false knock. the PCM is designed to pull timing slowly and usually at .7 per second. so if you were getting true knock and you had 3.0 it would go 3.0...then 2.3...then 1.6...then .9 and so on till it goes away.
False knock will show knock, then disappear completely. At least thats how It was explained to me.
However, I would recommend doing a compression test just to make sure.

Nvm guys it still boost the same if not actually a little more I guess I just freaked when it bogged down on me a little. It is really ******* cold here so Im figuring that is affecting my vaccum and boost a little but I will keep things posted if something does happy. Thanks everyone
