I think GMS2 puts you at about 240 hp

42" Injectors, 3.0" Pulley, and a tune.
Gas milage I dont know,

Since its made and instaleld by GM, then
the warranty is still good.

If you want just a tune on a stock SC, you can get a a GM Stage 1,
that's 42# injectors and a tune. I forgot what the HP was for that.

They need to prove that your mod voided the warranty. Obviously all of GM Stuff is warrantied by GM.

But if you have an intake, they can't say that it made your timing chain snap, or if you have a front mount heat exchanger that it made your 4th piston implode etc.

Your next favourite thing will be an intake. It makes the blower sounds sooooo good and loud. It was the last mod I did and wish I had done it first haha. I also recommend rotated tranny mounts from www.overthetopperformance.com to get red if any wheel hop you might have. Wheel hop can/will snap axles. It's happened to me and many others and the cobalt is bad for it.

As for the MPG. If your not on the throttle it will probably go up. Mine did when I went to a smaller pulley, using the fun pedal though it will go down though. Especially on the rich GM Stage 2 tune. More air = more fuel.

Lastly, just a a tune on a stock SS/SC is a waste.

Joel

Edit : I just noticed you have an AEM intake already. Disregard getting another one then .

It will not void the warranty with tranny mounts, if anything your doing GM a favor when they are not replacing your axles for you . If you start wheel hopping back off the throttle.

Don't worry about getting owned off the line. It just takes practice, when I first got my car everything would walk me off the line. One of the keys in this car is to not just dump the clutch, try rolling onto the throttle and off the clutch don't just drop the hammer. You have to make do with the traction your able to get with it.

It was weird going from just hitting the gas and going to a vehicle I had to actually "drive". I know how it is haha.
