I was wondering if it was possible to put the new lnf motor in my 05 cobalt ss.. I know im going to get flamed or **** like that but i just want to know.. so if anyone can help let me know

def possible. But do you really want to spend the cash for the powertrain, ecm, front suspension, etc? if you think about it. its not worth it unless you've got too much money in your pocket.

You are misinformed sir....there's just as much if not more stuff out for the LSJ cobalt as there is the LNF. We have s/c upgrades available all the way up to a 1.9l blower, we have turbo swap kits, endless suspension ****, exhausts....and the list goes on. You can do just as much to your LSJ as you can an LNF car and make the same and more power than the LNF can make(unless you had the Stg 1 sensors and weren't limited on the fuel/air tables).

Stick with the LSJ. The lack of being able to tune Direct Injection is holding the LNF back..... Until there is a reliable way to tune the DI I wouldn't waste my time. You'll spend just as much if not less converting it over to a turbo instead of swapping the motor out.

Trifecta pretty much has the fuel tables ulocked on the LNF as far as I ve heard theres a thread about it on here somewhere

That's what I tried to say...the OP really needs to do some research. There's absolutely no logical reason to swap to an LNF. But oh well, he'll figure it out on his own eventually that the aftermarket on the LSJ is bigger than the LNF.
