Exclamation help. white smoke

well my car was all fine.

got the fuel pump replaced under a recall and changed fuel filter at the same time. also went ahead and replaced the tensioner blazin talked about.

but i seen my car today smoking a bit out of the exhaust some white smoke. so stopped at the shop because I had to get some oil when i turned the car back on white smoke came out of the exhaust slowly drove the car home when i got home go out and looked at the exhaust while car being on and no smoke idk what it can be. temps are good. coolant level is good car runs normal and good.

been told head gasket maybe or oil backing up in the turbo.

anything else i should look/think about? anyhelp will be apreciated thanks

oil out the turbo would be bluish. Don't you have your oil pan tapped?

a truly HEALTHY LSJ is gonna be in the 190-210 range, 150-170 is super high mileage/wear, but likely still runs ok.

Turbo seals dumping oil straight into the exhaust may smoke grayish white as opposed to bluish white but sometimes its hard to tell the differnece in colors.....there is NO mistaking the smells though, coolant is sweet.

dont really know much about the lsj but i thought white smoke was fuel.

could it be that when you changed the filter all the **** and grime and grit that was in there got loosened up in the fuel line and just when you started up and drove it cycled thru and came out the exhaust?

just my .02

White smoke can mean its running lean as well. So you are sorta correct. But coolant is white as well.

Are you getting this at idle, WOT, both? I know you saw it on startup, but from what i gathered that was the only time? Also how much are you seeing?

Can you grab a vid? Pull some plugs as well.
