look at the pulley itself i think it might say stage 2. not sure. also ask him what injectors are in it. and don't be like hey the stage2 has 42# injectors what does this have. just say "hey so it has a smaller pulley on there, did you upgrade the injectors as well"
as for air ride. i've heard mix oppinions on it. but either way. i'm almost 100% its not track legal

yeah he could have done that but I highly doubt it. the stage 2 kit consists of the pulley and bigger injectors. he would be nuts to run 3 more pounds of air with no fuel. that motor would hate him
also, if he put on a legitimate GM stage 2 kit, not a custom setup, the bolts that come with the kit for the pulley are blue. can't miss them

ok cool that makes sence...i am going to do stage 3 with it most likely..just wondering what i could do for traction problems..as in motor mounts tranny mounts H brace..anything else?? and also was wondering about a LSD any thoughts on that??
I probably wouldn't bother with stage 3 IMO
for traction, you want solid motor mounts from ttr and poly inserts for the trans mounts, also from ttr. click the link in my signature. aside from that, look into clutches and maybe an ingalls torque dampener
and for the lsd, if it doesn't already have one, don't bother. it's hard to find them and you have to rip the trans apart to install it. I don't have one and although I can say I wouldn't mind having one from the factory, it wouldn't be worth it to install it on my own. the cost outweighs the benefit IMO

get the vin and call gm. they can give you the dealership it came from then call the dealer and ask what was done to it such as your stage 2. they might say they cant give out the info but if you just let them know that you are purchasing the car they will tell you the performance mods from dealer

As stated: stage 3 pcm can't be tuned so there's no point in running 60lb injectors. You can run the 2.8 on a stage 2 or stage 3 pcm without excessive lean. 3" exhaust is worthless on a non-turbo redline er...cobalt ss sc.
