hesitation
I had the same problem it's ok, took me forever to try and explain it and get it fixed. Go to http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web enter your VIN and see if the Engine Performance module contains any new flashes for your VIN, should have new calibration for idle surge, etc, etc. Go to the dealership and tell them to update your PCM with that new Engine program module and ta-da fixed!

I have hesitation when it I first start my car, not while idling but when I start driving in first and second gear. Its like a slight delay when pressing the gas and the car responding. This only happens when car is cold. Anyone notice this as well?
Ya me too. If I have time I usually try and let it warm up and then idle down the road in first gear... It goes away fairly quickly.
It's caused by moisture being forced through the intake and altering the readings of your mass air sensor. There really isn't any way of stopping it, just be sure to regularly change your filter and clean your mass-air sensor. The oil that come on most filters once the filter is older can build up in the MAF and throw your readings way off ( just did all of this to mine that's the only reason I know it was a problem at least for me )
I was getting a really really bad hesitation and it would throw the occasional van-sized flame out of the exhaust. Cleaned the MAF, fresh filter, and it fixed it right up.
