Ive used bug and tar remover to help dissolve, hair dryer to heat it up and 20lbs test line. broke a line once but thats cuz i didnt let the remover sit long enough and didn't heat it enough.

If you have to, see if you can get your hands on some stronger fishing line

Get a real heat gun, it will come off easy. Hair drier isnt hot enough.
you might want to get a friend to help out, heat it up and try and pull at the same time. I just swapped my spoiler this weekend, and doing it that was was the easiest (thats how we got the low rise one off the other guy's car)

I used a hair drier to get the big one off my car and that was a huge PAIN

I used a heat gun to switch from low pro to high pro. It took about 10 minutes plus bolting it back on. wow.

I pryed mine up and got a Hacksazw blade and cut the tape as it streched. Then used Goo-Gone to get the remaining tape off. Just be careful not to dent your trunk when you are prying on it =(

I just used a field knife and some elbow grease. Did it on my own, nothing broken or damaged. Lift up in th wing and cut away at the adhesive till it gives away, then move to the other side.
