holy rasp

As part of my build i bought a used pacesetter with custom catted down pipe cheap, when it showed up on my step, i quickly opened it up to find a gutted cat. Needless to say i installed anyway to give it a try. Im very happy with the way it freed up the exhaust but dam the rasp! I plan to get a replacement cat welded in soon as im not sure how long i can drive like that. So for anyone wondering or going to ask dont go catless! (not that i wanted to i just got duped on my purchase.)

add ZZP resonator and stay catless! you could also add a small vibrant resonator on the downpipe

That's when you need a catless set up like mine. Don't mind me blowing my car up at the end

I would change that gutted cat out though and put a straight pipe in. No turbulence then.

pretty sure my cat is burnt out cause it smells horrible

I think thats the majority or the noise is a big hollow opening where the guts should be. Ive thought about strait pipin it but i think a cat is the way.

Haha ya . From what several people have told me that have been beside my car at WOT is it sounds like a jet engine. Just an ear piercing rush of air out the tailpipe haha.

Catless is not bad you just have to be more picky about your resonator and muffler choices.

FYI I had Pacesetter and even catted it was raspy with my setup at the time

Why do i need a search button when im sharing my experience? I could see if i had a question but i was giving a review of my experience for those who are scared to ask because of people like you that all the do is troll every thread. Great knowledge but not so sure about the attitudes of some.
