really useful answers its not even close to " asking how to make a civic sound like a semi truck"
you can can get different types of exhaust tones with different setups all i asked was what setup sounds more like a subi instead of a loud obnoxious 4 banger so if you dont have any actual advice please do not post

Dumb question is gonna get dumb answers.

First of all you're not gonna get a supercharged car to sound like a turbo'd car.

It's common sense.

Also replying like a pissed off child won't help you at all.

1.) remove Drivers Seat.

2.) replace with giant *****

3.) Spread em' wide, sit down and go for a bumpy ride

4.) your car will sound just like an STI.

A subaru sounds like a subaru because of its extremely unequal length header. Any unequal length header will make your car sound like that.

Boxer motors sound like normal loud 4 cylinders when they have equal length ones.

Pretty much this

STep 1: buy subaru

or

Step 1: Get custom tuned, turn off rev-limiter
Step 2: Race a civic, and downshift at redline from 3rd to 2nd
Step 3: hit vtec @ approx 9001 RPMs
Step 4: Bust off rockers therefor giving subi sound
Step 5: ?????
Step 6: profit

really , why not just tell the guy how you could do it guys? Go buy a JBA noddle header, and a believe a flowmaster muffler, and it will be close, sounds good imo, but people say you lose power cause the header.

If I could find one of these headers, id be so tempted to buy it.

You'd always have that raspy without having a turbo.

You'll also rarely find a good sounding LSJ. There are only less shittying sounding ones. Bluelightning's probably sounds best because it's quieter than stock.

Take a rocker off on one of the the exhaust valves on the 2 and 4 cylinders. Why you would do it idk but it would work.
