My car's sticker price was 24, 995. It had everything but Onstar. (sunroof, XM, LSD and Recaro's, etc)

I wasnt a GM employee but I had a few contacts that fell through. The dealership gave me the GM discount anyway 1500 off so it came to 23, 495. They had a 500 dollar cash back rebate too so that brought it down to 22, 995.

22,995

2004 SE-R trade in after payoff it was like 1600 bucks towards my SS/SC

21, 3995

i then put 5000 dollars down on it in cash

Add tax titles and fees

Took out loan for 17,100

320 dollar payments a month.

Oh I also had a GM credit card with about 450 dollars of cash towards a new car that I used too, it fits in there somehwere hehe.

I'm 22 and car payment and insurance is less than 400 all together with insurance and car in my own name...shopping around for insurance is by far the way to go, I had a 1999 Ford Escort and insurance was more for that through State Farm than what I pay now for my SS s/c

I agree, I take alot I hear with a grain of salt. Not saying they are wrong, but It also can depend on the coverage they have and the state they live in etc. They might have min coverage where as you have max coverage or anywhere inbetween.

i have good coverage with high deductibles to lower the price. plus I have insurance salesmen in the family so they set me up with people that won't F*** me. did you know that the higher your premium and stuff is the commision the salesman makes. my brother gets a check from the insurance company everytime someone he sold insurance to pays. it's normally only a few dollars, but it adds up exponentially the more clients he gets

I paid $21,680 +tax tag & title. So around $22k out the door. Got $10,000 for my truck, still owed $7000 on it. So my loan's for $19k, payments about $400/month. A bit steep, but that's the price I pay for getting what I want.

I have 12 points on my license (9 if you take the 3 away for my defensive drivers course)

3 more drop off 11/13/2005. So i will be down to 6 with the -3 for defensive driving.

I got 5 points all at once! 103 in a 45 I believe it was. Nabbed me and 2 of my friends all at once, that cop was happy, shoulda fought it.
