How much horsepower can the cobalt ss t/c f35 tranny handle? Really curious if there are as many issues with ours as there is with the srt-4....What sites and companys offer componant upgrades such as syncros and shift forks???

 

nobody does yayyyy cobalts...zzp is coming out with an upgrade soon

 

I don't think there's an exact amount, it's more about how you drive it. Ive heard of trannys blowing up stock, and turbo swapped lnfs holding up fine

 

all in how u drive it... there are 2 companies right now working out a reenforced tranny AFAIK its just the cases giving/third gear dying... give it a bit longer ZZP already advertizes theirs.

Are the LSD transmissions also F35 trans just with LSD? I am curious about upgrades to. I had a fork break on me @ 21k miles but it was ruled as defective so it was replaced for free, then the 5th gear synchro went out shortly after lol.

 

yes LSD is just the same tranny with LSD AFAIK. there is allegedly a 6sp conversion too.... not worth it IMO

 

yeah luckly i work at gm so i get a little bit of play with broken s**t but i had my plastic linkage block pop out its located unerneath the front cup holders there is two of them one popped out and i put it back in now shifting to second is rough and i am waiting for my tech to look at it
