How much HP will I be pushing???

Hey guys...I am in the process of getting a stage 3 clutch, light weight flywheel, and GM stage 2 kit with a 2.8 pulley installed. I already have a injen CAI and GM performance CAT-back installed. Plus I have a torque tensioner. My question is how much HP do you think I will be pushing? I plan on getting a dyno after its all installed...but what can I be expecting with that?

Is that a Spec Stage 3 clutch you're getting? If so, i recommend getting a 2+ or 3+ instead. The + is the key to a nicer clutch.

I won't lie guys...I grew up in the boonies...I didn't really have any money until I joined the military...right now I am trying to get into car tuning....I really don't know all that much...I am learning...:-)...just trying to justify all the money I spent....lol...modding a car with out a sponsorship is expensive as hell...sometimes I wish I would have just bought a WRX STI...but then again everyone has one...same with the SRT-4....being different is a plus

I feel ya dude. I was thinking the same thing.. "Bought the faster car, I wouldn't have had to upgrade". You still would have wanted to upgrade no matter what car you got.

Im gonna shoot and say 270HP but youprobly wont get that much though. i dynoed 253 in humid weather right after it rained. you have a .1 smaller pulley, honed manifold, and a lighter flywheel which will cause less drag, but if you end up in the 250-260HP range dont be disappointed, i was shooting for 260 and got 253 so i wasnt disappointed at all plus i knew it was humid.

Hey don't sweat it man. Not everyone starts turning wrench when they are in dipers. All that matters is you know what you want to do and you are going after it. Plus it looks like you are doing things the right way and doing all the necessary supporting mods to go with the power. If you would have bought an STi you would want to mod it too. Trust me the mod bug bites you no matter where you start. I think you have your head on straight and are on the right path. Good luck modding and most importantly have fun with it.

Oh yeah and I say you will hit 251hp.

I haven't gotten the manifold installed yet either. I am waiting for the stage 2 to so I can have it all done at once. I figured I will get the stage 2 and manifold done at the dealership...then I will get the clutch and flywheel installed some where else. I have all this crap pilled up in my room lol. I installed the CAI...exhaust...and torque damper myself. Once I get the stage 2 installed I am going to put the 2.8 on myself.

haha a pool...I am not going to be the one give out prizes haha :-P...Ill let you guys know once I get everything installed. My stage 2 is in the mail and should be here in about a week. I am not sure how long the dealership will take to install...but once I get it I am heading straight up there. Then i am going to drop it off at a trasmission place I know so they can install my clutch and flywheel. Once that is done I am going to test it out a bit...then slap on the 2.8 pulley. Then Ill get it dynoned. Ill post it all once its done.

yeah...but my new concern is fixing what damage I just caused today...I swear you buy something new and it always gets messed up. You buy something used or cheap and it last forever...sniff....
