how much power can a stock supercharger make? i am asking because a ss/sc is talking alot of **** on me and saying that he is over 340whp on stock supercharger. i do not know his mods but i know for a fact that he has a stock supercharger and is not twincharged, also i don't believe he has nitrous but maybe meth.... is he (most likely) lying bout the 340whp?

 

Um, id say its possible with spray, ask him all his mods and we can clear that up.

 

you really think so? the mods i KNOW are full cattless exhaust, full cold air intake, and smaller pullie (i think 2.79)...... and 60's

 

He's yanking your chain big time if that's all he has. If you are stock, he should be able to pull on you with the mods you listed. I don't remember off hand how much boost the tc puts out, but I don't think you'd have a problem if you are modded. Some of the numbers on modded tc's will put an sc to shame.

 

that isn't all he has but i was pretty sure that the stock supercharger wasn't capable of that (cause i had one) especially not with a not less than 2.7 in pullie

No one on here can tell you if he is lying or not BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT MODS HE HAS. 60s, 2.8, full exhaust, p&p head, meth, spray, etc. if you do everything possible and add spray than 340 is possible. I HIGHLY doubt he has that. But with what you named, he will prolly beat you.

If the stock M62 is his only power adder, he's not making 340WHP.

 

tell him he is confused by numbers 2 comes before 3.

 

Just ask him for a dyno sheet. If he has that much power, then he would have something to prove it. I think the guy is full of crap, and he doesn't have proof of how he got that ridiculous number.

 

I'd say you race him to see if hes lying and when you win (when you most likely will), then you know hes FARRRR from any 300+ hp whp or at the crank.

Thats saying if he doesnt have a dyno sheet to prove his mods because just because the box says your getting 10hp from this mod, it doesnt mean it will ALWAYS deliver 10hp from it. Theres a whole lot of **** you have to look into before you go assuming that you are what the box offers.

 

he mite have that much power..if hes spraying..but with my mods(in sig) and when i had my 75 jets and my 2.6 pulley on i made 337whp..
