How is the ZZP mid length header and downpipe?

Can anyone with this combo tell me if they're nice pieces and worth the money or if i should buy diff. pieces altogether.
I have heard there are problems with the downpipe not being long enough for the o2 sensor, is this true with all of them?
How noticeable r the gains with it?
I have looked at other headers and downpipes and i think this one looks the best so i would just like to see other opinions on this.
thanks

A lighter wallet...

maybe 10-15hp or ft/lbs
It might shift the torque a little earlier...dunno, since there are very few out and installed.

I really like ZZP and I have never been disappointed with a product from them. I have a ZZP shorty header and two 3" downpipes (with a cat and without). I am seriously considering this exact setup in the future.

Well the gains are good but another member and I have had problems with the rear O2 sensor reaching, I've contacted them by email and received no reply - I tried by phone today with no answer...

Other than that the quality is amazing and it sounds good... Fitment was ok, not great but not bad at all...

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but one of the guys on here (ssnipes) installed the ZZP header/downpipe and how his exhaust is about 1.5 inch to 2 inch shorter then stock..

That so far is the only reason I haven't jumped on the purchase. Want to find out if this happened to anyone else. Other then that, the performance and build quality of the product looked to be top notch!

Let me put it another way. You want the best performance? You get a header. You want small gains.. You get a ported manifold.

Since im getting the mid length header and downpipe, which gives more mid-high end power, its not gonna take away any low end power is it?

Any header is going to make you lose alittle low end but doing a pulley change will compensate.

Someone needs to make a long tube header for us. 1 7/8ths header with a 3" collector would OWN.

Has anyone else seen this. I have the GMPP manifold and GMPP exhaust and wanted to know if It would help with performance or just make the exhaust sound different.

What size downpipe are we talking about? A 2.5" or a 3"? I can't see the 2.5" making more then 4-5 but with upgraded boost levels and a 3" i could see possibly 10.

Doesn't the stocker shrink down to 2.25" after the cat or before it?

Hopefully your pushing near 300 Whp to be running a 3" exhaust.

Why does everyone say 3" is too large? We're not N/A so it doesn't matter. If you're running S2. You shouldn't skimp on the exhaust. Do a 1 3/4th header, 3" downpipe and a 3" exhaust. What are you scared of with a 3" exhaust?

Dunno.. I'm about to order one of these ZZP mid lengths, and since I don't have the money to do a full exhaust just yet, i'm going with the 1 3/4" header and 3" downpipe with the 2.5 exit bolt on. That way when I have a bit more money I can chop it and go 3" all the way back.
