Not trying to screw with your thread but how much does a wideband O2 sensor cost and where do you get one.

 

you can tell if you are running lean based off of Long Term Fuel Trims, so yes. You just can't read AFR, and it does not calculate LTFT under WOT. So only way to tell under WOT is with a wideband.

There are lots of companies that make them and different styles whether you want a regular guage style or box/instrament style. Prices can vary from low 200s to more complex units of 300.

My personal favorite is the zeitronix zt-2 unit. It's a O2 Wideband monitoring, Boost monitoring, EGT monitoring and Lambda monitoring (Lambda is another way of reading a/f mixtures) all in one.
