hurst shifter knob....
alright guys i have a little problem, i installed my shifter...works good, adjusted so reverse lockout works, its wonderful....BUT
my shift knob only screws on upside-down so r and 5 are on my side and 1 and 2 are on pass and upsides-down!!!
how can i fix this????????????????????????????????????????

its a matter of playing with the ball piece, and the large nut,
spend a few minutes with it, you cant just tighten the ball down on the shaft.
you have to tighten the ball against the large nut, then tighten that....and play with it until it lines up right.
its hard to explain....but youll see what i mean if you go mess around with it a bit.

yeah, its all a matter of playing with your knob and nut...lol. Seriously though, just fool around with it. loosen the nut a little then tighten the knob onto it. It should slowly make a progression counter-clockwise until it is tight. It really does work though. Dont give up hope.
Yea what they said. Just play with the nut and the ball. Get the height right and the numbers will face the right way.
PS has anyone else gotten tired of the knob burning the hell out of your hand when you get in the car on a hot day?
